For our program season finale, CSCMP San Francisco is proud to feature Jim Kellso, Professor at Arizona State University, and formerly Sr. SC Master at Intel, on the topic, “Supply Chain Education… The Next 10 Years.” This is also the evening we present nearly $5,000 in student scholarships and sponsorships. We hope you’ll join us for the traditional Basque foods and celebration!

Jim Kellso, Professor of Practice of Supply Chain Management at Arizona State University, and former Senior Supply Chain Master http://www.supplychainquarterly.com/topics/Strategy/scq200902master/ at Intel Corporation, will highlight trends in manufacturing, SCM and then translate them to skills and experience supply chain management organizations will need to successfully overcome expected challenges. Finally, Jim will lead a discussion of structures and processes we will need to keep our organizations constantly refreshed.

Jim has over 40 years of supply chain and industrial engineering experience. He has worked 16 years in Industrial Engineering automation and consulting and 25 years at Intel in a variety of automation and supply chain positions. He is currently a professor of supply chain management at Arizona State University. He holds an industrial engineering degree from the University of Michigan, has been a licensed professional engineer for over 35 years and holds the title of Senior Supply Chain Master(retired) at Intel and Senior Supply Chain Management Professional from the CSCMP.
Jim’s passions include integrated supply chain strategy, using analytics to solve complex supply chain problems and the human side of the supply chain in talent development.
Jim has 11 children, 14 grandchildren and enjoys children (obviously), horseback and quad riding, tractor time to think, Cowboy Action Shooting, and being at the ranch in general.


CSCMP SFRT will be presenting 2 awards to students who are pursuing studies related to supply chain management: one is a $2000 scholarship, the other a fully paid trip to the annual CSCMP Global Conference in October, which this year is being held in Denver.
