Speaker: Elaine Gasser Director, Returns and Remarketing Personal Systems Group - Americas Region - Hewlett-Packard Company

Please join us as Elaine Gasser of HP shares valuable insight on how to reduce and prevent returns by focusing on the customer experience . She will present an overview of the strategies that Hewlett-Packard has employed to minimize returns by improving collaboration between manufacturers and retailers. Elaine was a featured panelist at the Consumer Returns 2008 event and was invited back as a panelist in 2009. Elaine will share a preview of the best practices she will share in Atlanta October 26th at Consumer Returns 2009.

Elaine is Director of Returns and Remarketing for Hewlett-Packard in the Americas, where she is responsible for the reverse supply chain strategy and execution for HP’s PC products in the region.  She has been working in the reverse supply chain field for the past 8 years.  Prior to this, Elaine has held a variety of management positions within HP, including North America Marketing Manager for handheld products, Director of Marketing Communications for HP PCs in Europe, and PC Market Development Manager in Europe.  She earned an engineering degree from the Johns Hopkins University in mathematical sciences, with concentrations in economics and operations research.
