The CSCMP SFRT is very pleased to have Adam Plumpton, Director of Logistics at Tesla Motors, discuss the journey and overcoming supply chain challenges at Tesla Motors.
Tesla has revolutionized the auto industry with its innovative, high performance, all-electric Model S, Motor Trend’s 2013 Car of the Year.

 Adam Plumpton

Adam will share the Tesla story with you, how it developed around the customer, and why the company will continue to be an influential force in the future of the automotive industry. He will discuss the supply situations that he faced-how to rethink an extremely competitive logistics system, the challenges of building an electric car in a gasoline driven world, and creating, managing, and executing a supplier infrastructure of more than 200 relationships.

Plumpton joined Tesla from Hewlett-Packard where he worked in planning and supply chain at the Imaging and Printing Group.
