Speaker Update: CSCMP's SF Bay Area Roundtable is pleased to welcome Kurt Doelling, Vice President Supply Chain Operations, Worldwide Systems Operations at Oracle

 Kurt Doelling

Kurt Doelling

VP Supply Chain Operations, Worldwide Systems

Kurt will share how Oracle was able to redesign their systems and processes within an aggressive 12-month timeframe while implementing a new ERP system. Attendees will learn about the challenges Oracle encountered and the processes utilized for their success.

Kurt Doelling manages Procurement, Supply Planning, Logistics and Backlog Management for Oracle’s Worldwide Systems Business. Kurt joined Oracle in 2010, when the company acquired Sun Microsystems. Kurt played a pivotal role implementing Oracle’s demand driven supply chain in which the entire hardware supply chain was fully transformed in a 12-month period. By radically consolidating the supply base, eliminating all distribution centers, going to a full build to order model and implementing a full suite of current Oracle Value Chain Solutions, Oracle quickly turned around the financial performance of hardware products. Kurt was with Sun for more the 20 years, where he oversaw the entire spectrum of the company’s supplier management activities, from strategy development to supplier engineering and quality management and procurement. Prior to Sun, Kurt held positions with AT&T, Pacific Telephone, Arthur D. Little and Date Resources Inc. Kurt has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Amherst College.
